A VISUAL SPECTACLE

Vijaya Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences for Women, Enikepadu, Vijayawada enters Champions Book of World Records.

The Women Staff and students of Vijaya Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences mesmerized the audience of Vijayawada with their impeccable ballet. It was indeed a laudable presentation. Dance is a part of our rich cultural heritage. It is as varied as the land itself. It has an underlying unity which binds the people of the country to gather. The dances of India are an expression of an ancient civilization. The students chose the topic “Unity in Diversity”. India’s different religions followed by its vast populace have contributed to making its culture as diverse as it is unique. The ballet included Folk dance forms from 28 states of India representing the fabric of Indian folk culture and has been spun with yarns from different cultures. Folk dances are specific to a particular locale. The costumes and style of dance technique distinguished vividly the difference in presentation. The songs based on folk lore and their dance sequences are indeed spellbound. Opened with dance forms from each state with specific sequence, represented the name of the state with a placard and announcement, the organizers did a splendid job without any chaos. The dance postures clearly manifested the diverse dance forms . The effort to wow the audience was done at the end with the formation of symbols representing Hinduism, Christianity and Islam. The Bharatmata at the center was placed watching her beloved children uniting the nation together with their stupendous innovative movements. The real highlight was the carrying of Tricolor flag waving up , thus implicitly indicating that we accept the duties on border to make sure that everything is in order.

Dr.K.Padmalatha, Principal, Vijaya Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences needs special appreciation for her wonderful work in organizing and managing the entire event. She is a mellifluous person and her efforts accentuated the whole program. She is an inimitable elan.

Dr.Pattabhi Ram Turlapti and Dr.Santhi Devi-Founders, Score More Foundation presented World Record Certificate to the organizers. B.S.Sri Krishna , Sectretary, Bodish Kumar and others were among those who were present on the occasion.
