AP BJP unit demands dismissal of Dy CM Amzath, MLAs for Supporting PFI

By Our Special Correspondent

BJP State General Secretary S. Vishnuvardhan Reddy lashed out at Deputy Chief Minister Anjat Basha, some ministers and MLAs who are supporting the anti-national Popular Front of India (PFI) and the Social Democratic Party of India (SDPI).

Speaking to the media here on Wednesday along with the party's Minority Morcha state president Sheikh Baji and BJP leader Pala Srinivas, the general secretary said that the government is protecting traitors as part of vote bank politics.

The vote bank politics of the two regional parties in the states of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana are blamed for the anti-national activities of the PFI and SDPI, which are using the two states as their shelters.

The BJP leader alleged that YSRCP ministers, deputy chief minister and MLAs are openly cooperating with PFI and SDPI. He said that despite the fact that the Atmakuru police station had been attacked and set on fire, the SP revealed in a media conference that no action was taken against the accused.

Deputy Chief Minister Anjat Basha, MLA Chakrapani Reddy and Kurnool MLA Hafiz Khan have accused of putting pressure on the police by not taking action against the accused. The same happened in the incident of attack on Guntur Police Station and Rayachoti Police Station.

They said this was a false signal to the honest police officers and demanded immediate dismissal of the Deputy Chief Minister, Ministers and MLAs.

Referring to the recently concluded assembly session, the BJP leader accused NTR of changing the name of the University of Health Sciences with malicious intent. He demanded the government to change the name of Jinnah Tower in Guntur to Abdul Kalam or Alluri Sitharamaraju Tower.

They also demanded that the name of King George Hospital be changed after Alluri Sitaramaraj and the Polavaram project be named after Atal Bihari Vajpayee. These are not their personal assets to name your family members.
