Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy met with YSRCP leaders of Kuppam Constituency here on Thursday and started a constituency-wise meeting with party workers.
Speaking at the meeting, the Chief Minister said that Kuppam has a special place in his heart. He promised to provide full support for the development of the constituency. He said that the YSRCP government has further developed the heap in three years.
Former CM Chandrababu Naidu did not develop the constituency despite representing the constituency for decades. He said that the government has sanctioned Rs.65 crore for various development works to Kuppam Municipality.
Speaking on this occasion, he said that the majority of people think that Kuppam is a stronghold of TDP and it will always support Naidu, but this time YSRCP will win.
He said that the number of BCs in the constituency is high and YSRCP can win by introducing welfare schemes for BCs. He said that YSRCP fielded IAS officer Chandramouli in the last election and after his death, his son Bharat was fielded to contest the next election.
He said that Bharat is working brilliantly for the party in the constituency and has played a major role in the party's success in local bodies and municipal elections. He asked the cadre to support India in the upcoming elections.
He promised to give Bharat a cabinet berth if he wins the Kuppam seat. He asked the cadre to focus on winning the constituency and let go of the illusion created by Naeem among the people. He said that the current government has already prioritized the heap and undertaken many development works.
He said that schemes like Nadu-Nedu, Village Clinics, RBKs, and Village/Ward Secretariats have brought governance to the village level in a transparent manner. The CM promised to pave the way for the party's victory in Kuppam. He asked the cadre to win 175 seats out of 175 seats.
