After the expansion of the cabinet, independent MLA Bacchu Kadu called the government of crooks and the disillusionment in the government led by Eknath Shinde came to the fore.

The Cabinet has approved an increase of Rs.10, 000 crore in the cost of the Metro Line 3 project. Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis said. He said the price hike was due to the government's earlier decision to cancel the metro car shed project Aarey Colony, due to which the project was still incomplete.
