By Our Special Correspondent

Dubbaka Assembly Constituency BJP MLA M. Raghunandan Rao on Wednesday alleged that ruling TRS Party MLC K. Kavita went to Tirumala along with Abhishek Rao and Ramachandra Pillai, the main accused in the Delhi liquor scam case, on the occasion of her father and leader's birthday K Chandrasekhara Rao.

Addressing media representatives, Raghunandan Rao released some photos of Kavitha along with the two accused in the liquor scam. He stated that Kavitha was also one of the directors of the companies owned by Ramachandra Pillai, one of the accused.

Referring to Kavitha's comments that she had no role in the liquor scam, the TRS MLC was asked why she had come to Tirumala with the two accused if she had no role in the liquor scam. Kavitha was asked to reply to the news story published in the media on this issue.

On the other hand, the Enforcement Directorate (ED), which is investigating the Delhi liquor scam case, conducted raids in 32 areas across the country. A team of 15 ED officials conducted raids at two different locations in Hyderabad, Kokapet and Nanakramguda.

Apart from conducting simultaneous raids in Delhi, Bengaluru, Gurgaon, Lucknow and Noida, the flat of Ramachandra Pillai, one of the accused in the liquor scam in Kokapet, was raided.
