Bodies of woman and 2 children found floating in Manipur river, officials say likely from Meitei family of missing 6

Three women and three children have been missing since Monday, after their relief camp in Jiribam came under attack.

          The bodies of a woman and two children – believed to be three among six people missing from Manipur’s Jiribam since Monday – were found floating on the Jiri river on Friday evening.

          The bodies have been taken to the Silchar Medical College and Hospital for post-mortem, Assam Police confirmed.
