As India celebrates Constitution Day, also known as Samvidhan Divas, today, November 26, President Droupadi Murmu will address a joint sitting of both Houses of Parliament in the Central Hall of the old Parliament building to mark the 75th anniversary of the Constitution.
During the event, President Murmu will release translated versions of the Constitution in Sanskrit and Maithili, and will lead a ceremonial reading of the Preamble. Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Vice-President Jagdeep Dhankhar, and Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla will also attend the celebrations.
