In an achievement for India’s space program, the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) successfully launched its workhorse rocket, the Polar Satellite Launch Vehicle (PSLV), with the European Space Agency’s (ESA) Proba-3 mission on board. The launch, which had been delayed a day earlier due to an anomaly detected in the satellite system, lifted off smoothly from Sriharikota, marking a significant milestone in Isro’s commercial space endeavours.
