Naidu day dreaming of CM chair, says Sajjala

By Our Special Correspondent

YSRCP General Secretary Sajjala Ramakrishna Reddy was furious over the comments made by the Leader of the Opposition and TDP chief Chandrababu Naidu that the yellow party will come back to power in Andhra Pradesh in 2024.

Sajjala said in a press conference on Monday that he (Naidu) is daydreaming. Describing Naidu as an "unethical person", the Government Adviser (Public Affairs) said the TDP chief was looking for political alliances as the opposition party, which lost the 2019 elections, entered the "ventilator stage

Chandrababu said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi is going around him for alliance and he is doing cheap politics. "TDP leaders are daydreaming to come to power and form the government, but in reality people are ready to reject them," he claimed and said Naidu was trying hard to remove frustration among activists by launching such a campaign.

"A leader should always have people's welfare as their sole agenda and then people will give him/her their mandate. One may have cheated them once, but one cannot do it every time. Chandrababu Naidu has not realized this fact yet," he said.

Sajjala alleged that even though it has been three years since the people rejected Chandrababu, no effort has been made by him to correct his mistakes and gain the trust of the people. He said that Naidu is looking for a deal to form an alliance in the next elections, to support the BJP in Telangana and again in Andhra Pradesh.

Sajjala said that YSRCP is a party that came from the ideas of YS Rajasekhar Reddy, who is worshiped by millions of people across the state, and his son YS Jagan Mohan Reddy has proved his ability by providing good governance. Naidu was not a populist leader and always went with an alliance to fight the general elections.
