INLD leader Om Prakash Chautala, Shiromani Akali Dal's Sukhbir Singh Badal, both of whom have a long history of fighting with the Congress, other senior leaders like NCP's Sharad Pawar, CPI (M)'s Sitaram Yechury and Arvind Sawant were on the dais Shiv Sena.
RJD leader and Bihar Deputy Chief Minister Tejaswi Yadav said on Sunday that the JD (U), SAD and Shiv Sena have pulled out of the BJP-led NDA to protect the constitution and democracy.
Addressing an INLD rally here to celebrate former Deputy Prime Minister Devilal's birthday, he accused the BJP of making false claims and promises, describing the party as a "badka jhuta party" (party of big lies). He said Union Home Minister Amit Shah had talked about an airport in Purnia in Bihar in a recent public meeting even though the city does not have an airport.
