District Collector P Ranjit Bashar has directed the concerned officials to speed up construction of government priority buildings such as Secretariat, Rythu Bharosa Kendras, and Health Clinics etc.
He participated in a video conference organized by Panchayat Raj Department Chief Secretary Gopalakrishna Dwivedi from Amaravati on Thursday.
The Collector has been advised to speedily complete the government buildings across the district along with all the Collectors in the state.
After the video conference, the Collector asked the District Panchayat Raj, RWS and Dwama officials to speed up the construction of Village/Ward Secretariats, RBK Buildings, Health Clinics and Digital Libraries.
He said that the state government is releasing funds for the construction of government buildings and Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy is reviewing the progress of the works every week.
The Collector said that of the 367 secretariats in the district, 177 secretariat buildings have been completed so far and the rest are in various stages. He said that out of 380 RBKs in the district, 91 RBKs have been completed and 53 out of 282 health clinics have been completed.
Collector Ranjit Basha clarified that out of 150, 137 digital library construction works have been allotted to the district. The officials were directed to reach the set targets within a week.
MPDO and AE were directed to hold a tele review meeting with MPDO and AE once every two days to know the progress of the works. Ordering to start all the works within 10 days, he warned that departmental action will be taken against the concerned officials if there is no progress in the works.
In-charge DPO GV Suryanarayana, Panchayat Raj SE Eera Swamy, ZP in-charge CEO G Srinivasa Rao and others were present.
