Popular Actor Prabhas attended the pre-release event of Telugu movie Seetha Ram as the chief guest. The movie starring Dulquer Salmaan, Mrinal Thakur and Rashmika Mandanna in lead roles will hit the screens this Friday.
In his short speech, Prabhas praised the cast and crew of the film. “The trailer is extraordinary. Dulquer, the country's most handsome hero, is a superstar. What a great movie Mahanati made in Telugu.
Everyone is appreciating Dulquer and Sita's performance. I want to watch a movie. A lot has been spent to make this love story. It seems that the film will also have a war sequence. We shot in Kashmir and this may be the first Telugu film to be shot in Russia.
He also expressed his admiration for Ashwinidat, the film producer who made films with NT Rama Rao. "Dutt is a great producer. He has done many great films in the last 50 years. We are lucky to have him in the Telugu film industry," he added.
Prabhas has repeatedly asked the audience to increase their passion for watching movies in theatres. Telugu theatrical distribution is facing a serious existential crisis with the challenges of increasing the audience's taste in movies.
Telugu films released in theaters in the last five-six weeks failed to find takers at the box office, prompting producers to go on strike in the Telugu film industry.
