Pushpa actor Rashmika Mandanna has been appointed National Ambassador for Promoting Cyber Safety by the Indian Cybercrime Coordination Centre (14C) under the ministry of Home affairs. The actor lead a nationwide campaign aimed at raising awareness about cyber threats and promoting online safety. Announcing her appointment on social media, Rashmika said, “Let’s unite to build a safer cyberspace for ourselves and future generations. I want to bring awareness and protect as many of you as possible from cybercrimes as I take on the role of brand ambassador for 14C. ” A few months ago, deep fake videos of Rashmika and Alia Bhatt had set alarm bells ringing in the film industry.
