Retro trailer: Suriya goes on rampage in this 80s-styled Karthik Subbaraj thriller

The official trailer for 'Retro' is out, showing Suriya in a gritty, action-heavy role unlike any he's taken on before. The trailer opens with a series of intense sequences, where Suriya’s character is seen taking down enemies in a ruthless rampage.

As the story unfolds, we see glimpses of a softer past. Suriya’s character is shown making a promise to his lover, played by Pooja Hegde: to walk away from a life of crime and violence. But when the two meet again, it becomes clear he’s only gone further down that path.
