Actor-filmmaker Rishabh Shetty grabbed national consciousness with his National award-winning performance in the pan-Indian blockbuster Kantara. While Rishab won the Best Actor award at the 70th National Awards, the film took home the prize for Best Popular Film providing Wholesome Entertainment.
Soon after the success of Kantara, Rishabh trained all his focus on the second part, which is said to be a prequel to the first film. Now, the makers have announced that Kantara 2, which is titled Kantara – A Legend will hit the screens on October 2, 2025 on the occasion of Dussehra.
