To strengthen the greenery, a sampling program was organized in Visakhapatnam on Sunday under the auspices of Help age India under the auspices of District Senior Citizen Welfare Association. On this occasion, many elderly people participated in the sapling planting program.
They emphasize that this is one of the cost-effective ways to curb pollution and enhance the beauty of the city. Banyan saplings were planted on this occasion.
Senior Judge, DLSA Secretary KKVB Krishna, Zonal Commissioner Sivaprasad, Former Vice Chancellor of Acharya Nagarjuna University V Balamohandas, actor Ravi Krishna, HelpAge India Manager Mrinal, senior citizens and association members participated in Haritaharam held at Yoga Village at Andhra University.
They emphasized the need to enhance greenery in the city, curb pollution and make the city a more beautiful place to live.
