Sri Venkateswara College in Delhi celebrates diamond Jubilee

Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan was the chief guest at the Diamond Jubilee celebrations of Sri Venkateswara College, Delhi.

Speaking on the occasion, the Minister appreciated the efforts of Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam Trust Board and Srivenkateswara College in the field of education.

Congratulating TTD College for achieving A+ grade, he emphasized the importance of research. On this occasion, the Minister released the Diamond Jubilee Souvenir of the College.

It is known as Sri Venkateswara College (University of Delhi), Dhaula Kuan, New Delhi of Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam, which was established on 20 August 1961 under the great vision of Smt. Durgabai Deshmukh, Shri KL Rao, Shri C. Anna Rao completed his glorious sixty years. Since its inception, the college has achieved fame in the field of education.

As part of the Diamond Jubilee celebrations, various programs and seminars were organized throughout the year like 'Basic Science for Sustainable Development, MGNCRE (Mahatma Gandhi National Council of Rural Education), field interaction with representative of Govt. India, Webinar on 'Digital Economy and Patriotic Song Contests.

College Principal Professor C Seela Reddy welcomed the distinguished guests and appreciated the efforts of the teachers, non-teaching staff and students of the college to organize the Vajrotsava celebrations grandly. She also expressed her commitment to achieve new heights in the field of education in the coming days.
