Sujana Chaudhary says, Shifting capital from Amaravati is not possible

By Our Special Correspondent

Former Union Minister Yalamanchili Satyanarayana Chaudhary (Sujana Chaudhary) argued that no one has the ability to shift Andhra Pradesh's capital from Amaravati unless the relevant bill is passed with the support of Parliament.

Sujana Chaudhary started a blood donation camp in Ongole on Sunday as part of Prime Minister Narendra Modi's birthday celebrations in a meeting with local intellectuals. Local BJP leaders started the Prakasam Praja Puruyatra by waving the flag.

In a press conference arranged before the meeting with district president S. Srinivasulu and in-charge Nagothu Rameshnaidu, Sujana Chaudhary said that meetings are being held with people from different communities to celebrate the Prime Minister's birthday.

BJP has become the largest political party in the world. He said that under the leadership of Narendra Modi, the BJP has become the largest party in the Parliament by providing sustainable social infrastructure like food, health and shelter to everyone, which was not possible due to the Congress which ruled the country for 60 years.

He said that many initiatives like Make in India and Swachh Bharat have led the country towards development.

He said that in order to achieve comprehensive development of the country, BJP should be supported in the state and youth leadership should be developed irrespective of caste, creed, region and religion.

They said that they are ready to know the opinion of the intellectuals and they are ready to correct the errors and problems in the implementation of the programs.

Responding to reporters, Sujana Chaudhary asserted that the Andhra Pradesh Reorganization Act clearly gave the state government the power to choose the place for the state capital, and the government formed in 2014 had decided the capital at Amaravati and emphasized that all parties, including other parties, were present. In the assembly YSRCP, BJP and the left parties in the council unanimously approved the decision.

He said that with the approval of Amaravati as the capital of AP by the Parliament, the power to choose the capital was automatically lost. The former Union Minister said that setting up three capitals or 33 capitals is not possible for anyone even if they do penance on 'Shirasasana'.

He said that the capital cannot be shifted from one place to another every time a new CM is sworn in. He expressed concern that the state is in the grip of sand, liquor, mining and land mafia and the government is misusing public funds.

People are advised to think about the future of Andhra Pradesh and use the right to vote carefully.
