Teachers shape your lives, Collector tells students

District Collector K. Madhavi Lata said that mother gives birth and teacher gives life and everyone should respect such teachers. She said that the district administration will provide full cooperation to the teachers in the efficient management of the schools.

Teacher's Day program was organized at Venkateswara Anam Kala Kendra in Rajamahendravaram on Monday. Collector Madhavi Latha, MPP Margani Bharatram, Ruda Chairperson Sharmila Reddy, DCCB Chairman Akula Veeraju, DEO Abraham and others paid floral tributes to the statue of Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan.

On this occasion, the Collector honored 29 teachers who were selected as the best teachers in the district. The Collector said that she feels fortunate to have the opportunity to honor the teachers.

He said that the state government is giving high priority to education and providing quality education. In the second phase, infrastructure and additional classrooms have been set up in 675 schools, she said. MP Bharat said that Guru is God after parents.

DCCB Chairman Akula Veeraju and Sharmila Reddy spoke on this occasion. Rajamahendravaram Division Deputy Education Officer Tirumala Das, Urban Range DI B. Dilipkumar, Kadiam MEO Lajapatirai, Sitanagaram MEO Swaminayak, Rajanagaram MEO Ramannadora, State Principals Association President Ramana Rao, Joint Secretaries K Satyanarayana, M Rama Rao, CRPs Jayanthi Shastri, Jenivasa Rao participated in the programme.
