Teachers told to acquire latest knowledge

Dr. M Jagapathi Raju, Principal of SRKR Engineering College, addressed a week-long workshop on mobile applications development, where lecturers and assistant professors should be upgraded with latest technology and students should be interested in new technologies by the Computer Science Engineering (CSE) department of the college here on Monday.

CSE Professor Dr. NK Kameswara Rao presided over the meeting. Dr. Jagapathi Raju said that the scenes created by famous film director Swargiya Vithalacharya have been impressing people for years. But he said that most of them have been realized with advanced technology.

The principal said that with the help of Android technology, we can know what is happening in the world within a few minutes. Assistant professors should learn and teach students how to develop these technologies, he said.

Kanumuri Narasimha, an expert from information agency Black Bucks, said that the students are benefiting greatly from the training provided by the faculty of SRK Engineering College.

College Committee Vice President SV Rangaraju, CSE Department Head Dr. G Mahesh, Assistant Professor SR Sitaramaraju and others were present.
