Vaani Kapoor is keen on learning horse riding for Shamshera

By Our Special Correspondent

Actress Vaani Kapoor, who is playing the role of a traveling performer in the upcoming film 'Shamshera', had to learn horse riding for months to portray her role in the film. An integral part of this training was for the actress to get used to moving around the horse.

'Shamshera' director Karan Malhotra, who earlier directed 'Agneepath' (2012) and 'Brothers' (2015), said in a statement: "Vani had to take part in horse training because you get to work with an animal in a film where you are training with an animal and you have to build a relationship with it. .

Vani told her director: "Even in horse riding you need an emotional connection with the animal. Otherwise they throw you away. I remember I used to get this whole packet of biscuits and the trainer also told me to feed the horse, make friends with the horse and it's beautiful.

"I mean, they're the cutest animals. I think it's important to make friends with them first. They only know the language of love." 'Shamshera' is Ranbir's first film after 2018's 'Sanju'. The film is slated to hit the screens on July 22, 2022 in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu languages.
